Stay with us as we continue the transition into our new web page format. The potential exists to post more photos of our farm and 4-H events as well as to identify seasonal insect pests (see the gypsy moth caterpillar here) or invasive plants. You also now have quick access to state Extension resources by using the drop down menu "State Topics" in gray on the left. Bookmark our county page and follow our events calendar and news posts for the coming year.

Gypsy Moth Caterpillars

November 1st was our "go live" date with the new site.  It took a few days to work out the details and still adjustments are being made.  Our stories and announcements will be updated as we go through the months and seasons.  If there is more than one top story or announcement or more than two news articles, they rotate each time the page is refresed.  You can see the entire list of Top Stories, Announcements or County News articles by clicking the heading.

We also plan to provide more photos of the horticultural and pest samples brought to us for identification.

Our web based calendar is now active.  Use the "more events" link at the bottom of those listed to see the entire calendar.  You can see a list, or a monthly calendar by choosing from the options.

You can link to partner programs outside of Extension on the right side bar under Additional Resources or navigate to our state program areas on the left side bar under "State Topics."  Thanks to all our readers for staying tuned.  We welcome your feedback.
